I think we should of spent more time on the cold war because although there wasent fighting the tensions were intresting. Was cuba part of this? and is this why there is conflicts between cuba and the U.S? I also think world wars should be a year long.

Alonso Espino responds to the boms in Japan

After watching and learning about the case in ww2 with war on Japan. I agree that that the U.S needed to bomb Japan because Japan was just not giving up. I disagree on the type and location of the bomb because it shouldnt of been aimed at big cities fillied with innocent people. Second, it shouldnt of been the nuclear bombs especially because it was aimed at cities, the nucs destroyed cities and the land itself and the effects are stilll seen today.

I thought overall our field trip to the museum was a good experience. Many complained the instructors were the ones to blame for the bad experience. I think the worst part was the food, so for the next world wars class take lunch to the world war fieldtrips!!!!!!!!!!!

Alonso Espino episode nine

After watching episode nine after school on monday it really did seem like a total war. I thought it was crazy how the American soldiers would harrass the Japs. One scene in specific was when the soldiers went to the islands and one of the American soldier saw a Jap but didnt shoot him because he realized he was innocent. But then as soon as he truned around another troop shot him and was excited because that was the first Jap he had killed.

I was playing black ops a couple of days ago and I saw the street mr.c was talking about in nuke town. And it reminded me of class and it was really intresting how they put small detail in like that on video games.

Pearl Harbor

I watched the movie over the weekend and now that i have more knowledge about what really happened, i liked the movie a lot more. I understood it better and knew things that the movie left out.

the pacific...make up due to absence

From what i still remember from the movie, i thought it was great. What i thought was wierd was the part when the marines have been fighting for a while and they tell them that the army has arrived. It really surprised me how even though they were both from the same country they didnt get along. I feel that if they were together they would be a much stronger military force for the U.S

holocaust museum

I thought the field trip went well overall. It was a little rushed but i think we covered the basics. For future fieldtrips lunch needs to be fixed because it was a problem
